Del 7 de julio al 17 de octubre de 2021 se recibirán postulaciones para el Concurso Internacional de Fotografía del 10º Tenemos Que Ver, Festival Internacional de Cine y Derechos Humanos de Uruguay, un Festival que busca promover la reflexión en torno a los DD. HH. a través del arte.
Temática
En esta edición proponemos reflexionar hasta dónde esta situación sanitaria ha sido una buena excusa para el retroceso en derechos. Los pueblos de América Latina y el Caribe afrontan desde hace unos años una nueva avanzada del imperialismo y del capital, de gobiernos de derecha y de proyectos neoliberales y conservadores, cuya fuerza se sustenta en el control del capital, la violencia, los medios y redes de comunicación social.
Frente a ella, se han desplegado nuevos procesos de lucha y movilización popular en la región, como lo muestran los recientes ciclos de protestas y levantamientos en Chile, Ecuador y Haití, para mencionar solo los epicentros actuales de las resistencias populares. Así como la solidaridad uruguaya en la generación de ollas populares para paliar el hambre de nuestro pueblo. Nos centramos en cuatro ejes que nos desafían diariamente:
● Organización social, participación y resistencia en pandemia,
● realidades feministas y defensa del territorio,
● Medio ambiente,
● Necesidades del capital / Mercado / Ofensiva neoliberal

From July 7 to October 17, 2021, applications will be received for the International Photography Contest of the 10th Tenemos Que Ver, International Film and Human Rights Festival of Uruguay, a Festival that seeks to promote reflection on human rights through the art.
Thematic
In this edition we propose to reflect on how far this health situation derived from the COVID pandemic has been an excuse for the decline in rights. The peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean have faced for some years a new outpost of imperialism and capital, right-wing governments and neoliberal and conservative projects, whose strength is based on the control of capital, violence, the media and social communication networks.
Faced with it, new processes of popular struggle and mobilization have been deployed in the region, as shown by the recent cycles of protests and uprisings in Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Haiti, to mention only the current epicenters of popular resistance. As well as the Uruguayan solidarity in the generation of the so-called “popular pots” to alleviate the hunger of our people.
We focus on four axes that challenge us on a daily basis:
- Social organization, participation and resistance in pandemic,
- Feminist realities and defense of the territory,
- Environment,
- Capital needs / Market / Neoliberal offensive
